Current Job Openings:

1. Accountant Assistant (full time)

Duties:

  • Prepare personal tax returns for general public in a fast paced working environment. Tax clients include students, seniors, new immigrants, live-in caregivers, self-employers, deceased person, other individuals and business owners
  • Prepare financial statements based on raw data provided by clients
  • Prepare corporation tax in tax software
  • Process payroll, T4 and T4 filings
  • Calculate and file GST/HST
  • Communicate with customer in an effective manner (phone, email, face to face)
  • Perform other clerical duties as required

Requirements/Experience:

  • Possess sound numeracy and Keyboarding skills, familiar with computers
  • Fast learner,  honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Experienced in Customer Service with good communication skills
  • Background in Accounting
  • Previous training or experience an asset

Work Schedule:

9.00 am to 5.30 pm, five days a week

2. Tax Preparer (Full time or Part Time in 2018 tax season)

Duties:

  • Prepare personal tax returns for general public in a fast paced working environment. Tax clients include students, seniors, new immigrants, live-in caregivers, self-employers, deceased person, other individuals and business owners
  • Process T4 and T4 filings
  • Enter, verify and process slips in a timely manner
  • Communicate with customer in an effective manner
  • Perform other clerical duties as required, such as data entry, maintaining filing and record systems

Requirements/Experience:

  • Possess sound numeracy and Keyboarding skills, familiar with computers
  • Fast learner,  honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Experienced in Customer Service with good communication skills
  • Background in Accounting or Mathematics an asset
  • Previous training or experience in Tax Preparation an asset

Work Schedule:

Flexible Hours between a 10.30 am to 5.30 pm day

3. Office Administrator (full time)

Duties:

  • Maintain and track customer status and all deadlines
  • Create and update client files from time to time
  • Greet clients and keep visitor log
  • Help manager for memo, email, appointment scheduling
  • Take care of general customer enquiries
  • Handle office related item purchases
  • Update social media (Facebook, twitter or WeChat) to promote company business
  • Process payment when required
  • Facilitate customer flow in busy tax season
  • Perform other clerical duties as required

Requirements/Experience:

  • Possess sound numeracy and Keyboarding skills, familiar with computers
  • Familiar with social media
  • Knowledge to handle office equipment such as scanner, copier and printer
  • Able to create professional look newsletters with some graphic design
  • Good written skills in English
  • Fast learner,  honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Experienced in Customer Service with good communication skills
  • Previous training or experience an asset
